Pandenus is a historic Milanese hospitality brand. Its bistro cafés are designed as welcoming spaces for different moments of the day, with constant attention to quality and to the identity of each interior.
Controprogetto was involved in the design and production of custom-made furniture for Pandenus locations, starting with the historic venue on Via Tadino and extending to other openings across Milan. The work focused in particular on tables and furnishing elements, conceived for intensive, everyday use. The tabletops are made from reclaimed wood, assembled according to the brand’s iconic patterns: mosaics of wooden slats that combine different species, tones, and markings, transforming recycled material into a distinctive graphic element.
The goal was to give the interiors a recognizable signature that could dialogue with the brand’s identity without overpowering it, maintaining coherence between functionality, aesthetics, and durability.
