Bespoke kitchens in reclaimed wood

Kitchens and kitchen systems designed and made to measure

A kitchen is a complex project, where function, materials, and space must find a precise balance. Controprogetto kitchens can be linear or articulated, compact or developed around an island, integrated into the space or deliberately central. Each kitchen begins with a careful analysis of everyday use and the architectural context. There are no standard compositions: every element is designed to measure, taking into account flows, storage, work surfaces, and appliances.

Reclaimed wood, worked and protected to ensure durability and resistance, becomes an integral part of the project. The kitchen thus evolves into a functional and material system, conceived to accompany time and everyday living.

How the selection and production of a bespoke Controprogetto kitchen work

1

Space analysis

Walls, niches, heights, architectural constraints, and functions.

2

Definition of the design language

Patterns, finishes, materials, and the balance between solid and void.

3

Structural design

Wood, steel, or mixed combinations, depending on the context and load requirements.

Each Controprogetto kitchen is unique because:

1

The material defines the outcome

We use exclusively reclaimed wood, each piece with different characteristics. This makes repetition impossible: every element is created from an unrepeatable combination of marks, grain, and tones.

2

Every step is handled in-house

Design, fabrication, and assembly take place in our workshop in Milan. There are no outsourced phases or industrial standards: the kitchen takes shape following the project and the actual material, not a predefined model.

3

It is always a bespoke project

Shapes, proportions, patterns, and structure are defined in relation to the space and its use. Whether for a private residence or a commercial space, the kitchen is not an isolated object, but a design element.

Some questions our clients often ask

Yes. Every kitchen is designed starting from the actual space and the needs of the people who use it, with no predefined standard modules.

Yes. Patterns are a distinctive feature of Controprogetto, but they are not mandatory. Kitchens can be created with more essential surfaces or with custom textures.

Kitchen design takes the selected appliances into account, integrating them into the system. The supply of appliances is evaluated on a project-by-project basis.

Production times depend on the complexity of the project, its dimensions, and the finishes. Contact us and tell us about your project.

Certainly! We have an extensive collection of patterns and textures that you can start exploring on the dedicated patterns page of our website, or, if you prefer, you
