A table can be a central gesture or a quiet element that holds a space together. Controprogetto tables are designed to take on different roles: convivial or more intimate tables, tops strongly defined by the wood’s graphic design or more understated surfaces, light structures or more material-driven ones.

Each table is conceived as a one-of-a-kind piece, starting from the material it is made of. Reclaimed wood is selected and recomposed into graphic patterns or continuous textures, giving rise to surfaces that are always different and never repeatable. Shape, proportions, structure, and finishes are defined in relation to the space and its use.

The material defines the outcome

We use exclusively reclaimed wood, each piece with different characteristics. This makes repetition impossible: every tabletop is created from an unrepeatable combination of marks, grain, and tones.

Every step is handled in-house

Design, fabrication, and assembly take place in our workshop in Milan. There are no outsourced phases or industrial standards: the table takes shape following the project and the actual material, not a predefined model.

Shapes, proportions, patterns, and structure are defined in relation to the space and its use. Whether for a private residence or a commercial space, the table is not an isolated object, but a design element.
