Bespoke sideboards and wardrobes in reclaimed wood

Wardrobes and storage systems bespoke-made in reclaimed wood

Controprogetto wardrobes and sideboards are bespoke furniture elements designed to organize and define the space. They can be low or full-height, suspended or floor-standing, characterized by bold graphic patterns or by more essential surfaces.

Each piece is conceived to find a balance between function and presence. It can become a recognizable feature within the space or a discreet element that supports the architecture and other furnishings. Reclaimed wood, reassembled into unique surfaces, brings material depth and character to storage. Wardrobes and sideboards thus become an active part of the project, contributing to order, visual continuity, and the overall quality of the space.

How the selection and production of a Controprogetto wardrobe work

1

Space analysis

Walls, niches, heights, architectural constraints, and functions.

2

Definition of the design language

Patterns, finishes, materials, and the balance between solid and void.

3

Structural design

Wood, steel, or mixed combinations, depending on the context and load requirements.

Each Controprogetto wardrobe and sideboard is unique because:

1

The material defines the outcome

We use exclusively reclaimed wood, each piece with different characteristics. This makes repetition impossible: every piece is created from an unrepeatable combination of marks, grain, and tones.

2

Every step is handled in-house

Design, fabrication, and assembly take place in our workshop in Milan. There are no outsourced phases or industrial standards: the bookcase takes shape following the project and the actual material, not a predefined model.

3

It is always a bespoke project

Shapes, proportions, patterns, and structure are defined in relation to the space and its use. Whether for a private residence or a commercial space, the bookcase or equipped wall is not an isolated object, but a design element.
