Bespoke wall claddings and boiserie in reclaimed wood

Surfaces that shape the space

Controprogetto wall claddings and boiserie are created through the recomposition of reclaimed materials that already carry a history. Disused parquet flooring, panels, and wooden slats are selected and transformed into material surfaces, capable of adding depth and character to walls.

Each intervention is different, because the space is different, the role of the surface is different, and the material itself is different. The wall thus becomes an active element of the project, not a mere backdrop.

How the selection and production of a Controprogetto cladding work

1

Wall and space analysis

We assess dimensions, proportions, openings, and constraints.

2

Definition of the design and surfaces

We design patterns, textures, and formal solutions in relation to the space.

3

Craft production

We produce the claddings in our workshop, following the project through every phase.

Each Controprogetto cladding is unique because:

1

The material defines the outcome

We use exclusively reclaimed wood, each piece with different characteristics. This makes repetition impossible: every element is created from an unrepeatable combination of marks, grain, and tones.

2

Every step is handled in-house

Design, fabrication, and assembly take place in our workshop in Milan. There are no outsourced phases or industrial standards: the bookcase takes shape following the project and the actual material, not a predefined model.

3

It is always a bespoke project

Shapes, proportions, patterns, and structure are defined in relation to the space and its use. Whether for a private residence or a commercial space, the bookcase or equipped wall is not an isolated object, but a design element.

Some questions our clients often ask

Yes. Every cladding or boiserie is designed starting from the actual wall, assessing dimensions, openings, and architectural constraints.

Sì. Progettiamo interventi parziali, pensati per valorizzare una porzione di parete, una nicchia o una zona specifica dello spazio.

Yes. Patterns are a distinctive feature of Controprogetto, but they are not mandatory. It is possible to create more understated surfaces or develop custom textures.

Yes. The wood is carefully selected, treated, and stabilized to ensure durability and reliability also for vertical cladding applications.

Yes. Boiserie and wall claddings can be designed to integrate doors, recesses, or technical elements, while maintaining visual continuity.

Production times depend on the complexity of the project, its dimensions, and the finishes. Contact us and tell us about your project.

Certainly! We have an extensive collection of patterns and textures that you can start exploring on the dedicated patterns page of our website, or, if you prefer, you’re welcome to visit us to choose the solution best suited to your project.
