Controprogetto is a workshop of ideas and materials

We have worked with

Is it possible to create a new piece of furniture and respect the environment?

Yes, you just need to know who to turn to.

Controprogetto was founded with a forward-looking spirit and a creative drive strongly oriented towards design and sustainability. From the very beginning, research into materials and experimentation have been an integral part of the design process.

Over the years, technical expertise and an unconventional approach have taken our furnishings beyond Italy. Controprogetto projects have found a place in stores and installations for major brands, both in Italy and at their locations across Europe and America.

We reclaim, recompose, and regenerate, reinterpreting the existing to create new meanings. Each form is the result of research into time and material, and every choice is guided by environmental responsibility and meticulous attention to detail.

Material, sustainability, and language

Our productions pursue sustainability without sacrificing elegance, offering a warm, tactile, and experiential aesthetic. Wood, often reclaimed, is interpreted as both a narrative and a structural element.

We have developed a range of patterns and surfaces designed to engage with diverse architectural languages, capable of adapting to retail, hospitality, and residential contexts.

Bespoke, contract, and production

We can create fully bespoke furniture or more standardized pieces for the contract sector, always maintaining a high level of quality control.
